We at Kingswood primary school are very lucky to be able to use Wotton Community Parc for our Forest school sessions. Children across all key stages have an amazing time, learning about and how to take care of nature, den building, cooking on a fire and using penknives to whittle wood.

These are a few examples of the activities that not only enrich the children’s learning but being outside in such a green space also helps their well-being and the staffs too. As the children have said “Forest School is great, we get to play with our friends, jump in puddles and get muddy”. “seeing a shrew running about was incredible, I hadn’t seen one before they move fast!”
